PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival – Waringin Hill – Mirror Cave – Amelia Sea View (D)

A guide will pick you up at Komodo Airport with your flight time, and you will be welcomed by the traditional weaving (sembar). You start at Gua Batu Cermin, or Mirror Cave Stone. It is actually a tunnel or cave in the dark stone hill of Labuan Bajo, west of Manggarai. The sunshine comes in through a hole in the tunnel and bounces on the stone walls that again reflect small lights to others inside the cave like a mirror. In that cave you will see some fossils of sea life, such as turtles, fish, and hard coral. Then you will go to Waringin Hill. It is about 50 meters above sea level and one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset in the town. From here, you can also see the beauty of Labuan Bajo town. Continuing to Amelia Sea View, its hills offer a breathtaking combination of sea and mountains. From the top of the hill, you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset, as it provides a 360° panorama of Labuan Bajo and surrounding waters

Day 2: Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Manjarite – Kalong/Flying Fox Island Rinca (Sunset Moment) (B/L/D)

A guide will pick you up at your hotel. We advise you to buy some snacks and soft drinks in advance before your trip begins. You join on a wooden boat to start to Kelor Island. On this island you will do soft trekking for the views, and if you are lucky, you will swim with baby sharks, and then you will sail to Manjarite Bay to do snorkeling. In the afternoon, in the dark, you just stay on the boat while you enjoy the sunset, and the thousands of

flying foxes fly out from the mangrove to Flores Island.

Day 3: Padar Island – Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Makassar Reef – Manta Point (B/L/D)

Morning call at 4.50 am. You’re going to do trekking to the top of Padar Hill to hunt sunrise and enjoy the stunning three different bay views. Then you sail to one of the pink beaches. This exceptional beach gets its striking color from microscopic animals called Foraminifera, which produce a red pigment on the coral reef. You will relax and have fun swimming around this beach. Continue to Komodo Island to see the biggest lizard on earth. To explore the flora and fauna there, there are three different treks: a short trek, a medium trek, and a long trek (regular trek), and you could also do an adventure trek (optional). Then you sail to Makassar Reef. It’s a tiny sand island in the middle of the ocean, which will submerge underwater when the sea level rises. It’s a good place for relaxing and snorkeling in shallow water. This sand island is located very close to Manta Point. If you are lucky, you will be snorkeling with manta rays (they are 3–4 meters long).

Day 4: Sebayur Island (Snorkeling) – Kanawa Island (Snorkeling) – Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)

Morning tea/coffee and breakfast start at 5.30 to 7.15 am. We refreshed ourselves by snorkeling at Sebayur Island, which has a sheer drop-off with amazing coral reef scenery and great fish life, table coral, and stone coral covered in beautiful corals, and sometimes you will get strong currents of 1 knot or more. Then sail to Kanawa Island to enjoy the beach, and you will be swimming with the fish that you give food to, such as bread, bananas, or some snacks. While you are sailing back to Labuan Bajo, you are having lunch on the boat. You have free time at the hotel for around 2-3 hours. A guide will pick you up to take you to the local restaurant in the town.

Day 5: Labuan Bajo – Melo Village – Souvenir Shop - Transfer To Komodo Airport (B/L)

Breakfast at 6.00 to 8.00 am. You start at Melo village; it is one of the original areas that holds its charm. A typical village dance will be presented, namely the caci dance. This dance is a typical Manggarai dance, and the people who play it are native men from this village. The dance also has a philosophical value, namely as a form of gratitude to God as the Creator of the universe. Then, you will go to Rumah Tenun Baku Peduli. This place showcased various tenun from around Flores. When you are arriving, they immediately demonstrated how the tenun was woven and patiently explained the process. And then you go to the gallery shop to look for something that you like from here, such as traditional weaving, a Komodo statue, local coffee, traditional arrack, etc.  After that, the guide takes you to the Komodo Airport.
